Specialists at Germane provide expert advice on topics within our service areas. This role makes a difference for our clients and helps grow Germane Advisory's capabilities and impact on our clients and the community. This role is best suited to people who have 5-12 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assess client cyber security, privacy, crisis management, or data/AI governance needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Directly support clients through leading the day-to-day delivery of our service offerings.
  • Develop internal capability, service offerings, accelerators, and other IP to aid Germane Advisory in its support of clients.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in cyber security, privacy, crisis management, or data/AI governance.
  • Prepare high quality reports and recommendations for clients.
  • Participate in research and knowledge sharing internally and externally.

Selection Criteria

  1. Five or more years active work experience in a full time cyber security, privacy, or data/AI governance roles.
  2. Proactivity and engagement with your capability community.
  3. Experience leading teams of other people.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  5. Strong analytical and reasoning capability.
  6. Experience using or implementing relevant tools and technologies.
  7. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to your capability.
  8. Capacity to develop or apply new technology to delivering your capability services.
  9. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CIPM, CIPT, AIGP, SANS, CSP certifications etc.).
